One thing I do to try and hit my goals is, rather than working towards actual goals, I chance life habbits that would help me hit those goals. Not been so goal focused also makes it less daunting and makes me less likely to fail, for example, rather than trying to lose weight I will decide to visit the gym every other day etc.

When we don’t have enough experience with specific matter, then we also see, what others wants us to see, what is served. Then we tend to hide under some stereotype thinking and don’t analyze the situation further. The pressure of friends and family that shapes our patterns is very hard to break. I don’t think we should free us from these influences totally, we just have to take them with more caution.
